Travelling by car

Starting from somewhere on the North coast of Cornwall between Perranporth and Hayle? The easiest way to get to us is by following the coast road. You will pass Elm Farm midway between Portreath and Porthtowan.

Travelling to us along the A30 Leave the A30 at Avers Junction (Redruth turn off) and follow the direction to Porthtowan. When the road arrives at a T junction (Chapel Hill) turn left and Elm Farm is a about 300 yards on the right.

Travelling from the South Head to Redruth. Go through Redruth following signs to Portreath. About 1/4 of a mile past Tolgus Tin (The Gold Centre) take a turning on your right to Porthtowan. You will find Elm Farm about 1/4 of a mile on the left.

Please note that some navigation systems will direct you to turn off Tram Road before you get to Elm Farm and this will lead you to the hamlet of Nancekuke behind us.

Travelling by public transport

Bewteen the 3rd July & 3rd September the Newquay to St Ives bus (57) stops outside Elm Farm in the morning at 1115 (ish) and in the evening at 1715 (ish) going in both directions. 57 timetable here – Timetables

The nearest train station is at Redruth and requires a short (2 mile) taxi ride. Taxis are usually waiting in a rank outside Redruth station. We will call a cab for you on return. Train timetable here – Timetables
